You will be an experienced sales person who has relevant experience selling within the end user market. You will have a natural flair for sales who can generate demand. It is vital that you have strong people skills and are comfortable talking to customers on all levels. You will ideally have come from the heating/ventilation market, heating/cooling markets, control/automation/fire alarms with an industrial wholesale background. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The development of new and existing end user business by identifying suitable leads, planning appointments to meet potential customers and closing profitable deals with deliverable customer savings KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead implementation of the Vickers Energy sales strategy within defined geographical areas Promote and sell Vickers Energy EMS and ASA (new sales) products via direct selling to new and existing end users (none Corporate Client) Research and develop new potential business via internet research, business to business calls and other media Liaise with internal departments to meet and exceed satisfactory levels of customer service Meet and exceed agreed KPIs (e.g. place of work/appointment count/pipeline generation) Meet and exceed agreed orders/sales targets (e.g. turnover) Respond to management requests in a timely manner Provide accurate and timely forecasting Effective pipeline management with a strong focus on improving win rates Provide information relating to market trends and opportunities Provide feedback from customers (e.g. wants/needs/expectations) Undertake all training required to develop within the role Undertake other duties as necessary to the role/business ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE: Results driven Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven organizational and planning ability Strong desire to build a career in sales Full UK driving license DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years selling within the end user channel preferably from the heating/heating controls industry B’Tec 1st level (minimum) Sales/negotiation skills trained Experienced user of Microsoft office i.e. outlook/calendar/excel to intermediate level Experienced user of Salesforce or similar CRM systems BENEFITS: Car, Pension, Car Allowance, Commission/Bonus (5% commission on all invoices – paid monthly.
