This is an opportunity to join a new restaurant (opened September 2016) that has been ranked 56th best in the UK (National Restaurant Awards), from an award-winning food writer and chef, on Blandford Street in Marylebone. Their food is inspired by their heritage and travels, with flavours and culinary traditions from Britain, East Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The wine and drinks list is focused on sustainable wine making and independent family producers. The restaurant believes in in the selflessness of service and the great joy that can come from taking care of guests as if they were coming home. The Role: They are seeking 2 talented & committed front of house members to join their small & lovely team. As an experienced waiter you will - Provide proactive, warm and attentive service - Understand the restaurant's ethos - Be charismatic and confident with customers - Have interest and knowledge of food and wine, have a desire to learn more and develop your skills to become an expert through learning at the restaurant from a highly experienced team - Minimum 2 years' experience in a comparable restaurant - Always strive for excellence - Have a good level of spoken English - Have a 'can do' approach, supporting the team with a variety of tasks - Bar experience is also welcome - Love what you do! The ideal team member will enjoy and thrive on working in a tight-knit team, supporting in all tasks, with a focus on providing intuitive service with care and thought for their guests' experience. You must have a love of food & wine and a hunger to build and work in a successful restaurant. Strong communication skills and eligibility to work in UK are essential. Expect regular tastings and trainings, a professional but relaxed atmosphere, and a chance to be part of a growing restaurant with exciting cuisine and a great team. They are a small company with plenty of growth opportunities. OTE between £7.50 - £11.00 per hour.
