Grade - AVP Location - Canary Wharf, London The HR Programme Manager sits within the HR & LL&T (Learning, Leadership & Talent) team who work with colleagues across BUK, & HR to identify and manage talent and succession, and the demand and delivery of Learning products and services. The team supports the delivery of key BUK HR and Learning Initiatives through Programme and Project management. Your Role Own and oversees the implementation of Key HR programmes/projects that support the BUK people strategy Accountable for schedule and quality of all program/project elements Leads Stakeholders for program/projects to create plans and timelines Supports in the communication and engagement strategy for BUK HR and acts as the communications conduit to BUK HR Leadership Team, and conducts periodic briefings/status updates To support BUK HR with the delivery of specific communication plans aligned to Strategic goals and priorities Provide best-practice communication support to the BUK HR Team, that enables a high performing and engaged workplace Delivers a portfolio of communication projects according to business demand Person Specification Experience in management of complex projects and programmes across a variety of HR disciplines. Experience in a range of communications disciplines and the ability to clearly communicate complex material to audiences in a consumable format Experience of successfully influencing and managing relationships at senior leader level Essential Skills Project/Programme management and planning experience across HR disciplines Planning, developing and delivering internal communications programmes and strategies to meet defined objectives Managing and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and contributors Strong personal impact and presentation Thinking creatively and solving problems with tight deadlines Desirable Skills Relevant project or Programme Management qualification About Us Barclays is a transatlantic consumer, corporate and investment bank offering products and services across personal, corporate and investment banking, credit cards and wealth management, with a strong presence in our two home markets of the UK and the US.
