TAB exists to create mobile experiences that make the world work better for billions of people. We’re doing pretty well: from our studio in Kings Cross, we work with organisations such as Tesco, Visa, Kingfisher, RBS, TfL and Unilever, impacting tens of millions of people. But we’ve got bigger plans for the future - and we need your help to realise them. TAB’s Strategists help other TABbers and our clients to be smarter about how businesses solve problems for people with technology. They know enough to be dangerous about all the technologies that matter, how to elevate a commercial conversation and how best to uncover valuable customer insight. Then, our Strategists tie all three together into a compelling product strategy. We’re looking for an experienced strategic leader who can continually raise the bar for strategic thinking at TAB, ensuring we’re meeting our client’s needs, and that our team are hot property. You’ll need to excel in and adopt a broad range of roles, including: Working closely with clients as part of a cross-functional team of experts: counselling and consulting clients on the role of technology, driving product discovery work and helping product teams think smarter. Improving and selling TAB’s capabilities: collaborating with the brightest engineers to deeply understand the latest technologies and their potential applications, and working with our business development experts to deeply understand client needs, evolve our offering and pitch and win work for TAB. Mentoring the team and representing TAB: using your experience to coach and mentor team members and people across TAB. Represent TAB by writing, speaking or otherwise about subjects you’re passionate and informed about. You will be: Working as a strategic leader in technology or design agencies/consultancies; Itching to join a team that builds real products and services, and to further develop that team; Passionate about technology and the transformative effect of mobile and software on the world; Able to think in both business and behavioural models, researching and analysing client’s business and develop deep insight into customer behaviour; Opinionated about what makes an excellent user experience, and how that translates into commercial success for businesses; Excellent with clients and comfortable presenting and communicating strategies, concepts and ideas to senior executives in a clear and compelling way; Able to employ and explain a varied toolkit of concepts and techniques from across disparate areas of consulting, design, technology and tangential fields; Keen to mentor and grow a growing team and TAB; Experienced in the development and delivery of new business pitches. Interviews Our interview process consists of two to three rounds, starting with an initial telephone interview. If successful, we will invite you to meet with us face to face, where you will demonstrate your thinking ability as well as your skills and experiences. So if TAB sounds like the sort of unique challenge that matches your ambitions, please get in touch.
