One post is permanent, 3 days per week to commence in September 2018 (or as soon after as the applicant is able to commence). One post is a temporary position, 3 days per week, in order to provide maternity cover and will commence September 2018 for the period of approximately 12 months. Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a large, unified service supporting young people, their families and schools across a diverse geographical area. The EPS is committed to working together with schools and partner agencies to help all children, young people to 'build a better future'. The service works extensively at the strategic and systemic level but also therapeutically with individual children and young people. Team members are actively engaged in multi-agency work, interdisciplinary work, project work and action-based research. You will enjoy working with a large, friendly team fully qualified EPs who have a wide range of interests and expertise. The team is flexible in its approach to meeting diverse community needs. Team members are encouraged and supported to develop specialist interests and work closely with colleagues in partner agencies. You will receive tailored induction, mentoring and supervision.
