About the Application Support Analyst (Analyst, SQL, ITIL) role: An exciting opportunity has arisen at our head office for an Application Support Analyst. Here you will be tasked with assuring the availability of bespoke software applications for the user base by managing Incidents/Changes/Problems, and developing and implementing solutions and minor enhancements where necessary. Key duties will include owning and resolving Incidents and Services Requests for all the supported applications that come into the team, implementing changes to the supported applications, managing and deploying releases from the development environments into live; developing, documenting and maintaining support processes and procedures, sharing knowledge and best practice, regularly requesting positive and negative feedback; implementing and embracing new processes as defined by Governance, and continually improving and building a personal customer service ethos. Skills and Experience of the Application Support Analyst (Analyst, SQL, ITIL): The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills: •Incident, problem, change and release management processes. •Previous experience of 1st/2nd line application support •Supporting bespoke software applications. •In depth knowledge of T-SQL Queries •Excellent customer service skills •In depth knowledge of ITIL processes / ITIL foundation certified •Strong problem solving skills •Exposure to Internet Information Services (IIS) The benefits The satisfaction of working for a successful and ethical business who are here to help people is a big benefit of joining us, but itâ€™s not the only one.
