Credit Controller
Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for a well established manufacturing company based in Chesterfield, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their accounts setup. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to take ownership of their own role, managing their own work load and reaping the rewards of doing so. Main duties: * Manage customer accounts, over time becoming very familiar with these companies – what their needs are and how to deal with late payments on each of them. * Communicate via email, letters, and telephone to contact debtors and ensure payment of outstanding invoices. * Daily reconciliation of the banking and ledgers ensuring all cash is allocated correctly on customer accounts. * Provide daily invoicing and credit information to the bank and reconcile the ledger. * Credit check new customers and open new credit accounts ensuring the company has all the relevant information on the debtor. * Maintain customer account records of all communication and activity with the customer, following through when necessary to legal proceedings. * Resolve all problems for clients, copy invoices, proof of delivery, credit notes, and liaise internally to progress any problems that are being handled in any other department. * Deal with factoring and credit insurance, ensuring we have the correct cover for peak spend periods. * Reconcile accounts and do the same for the month end for the whole debtor ledger. * Report weekly to management on outstanding debt and issues and inform them early of potential debtors problems. * Maintains professional and technical knowledge. * To implement, encourage and foster a team culture that is always in the best interest of the company and its employees To apply you will ideally: * Have previous Credit Control / Accounts experience * Have a positive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative * To have superb interpersonal skills and be the contact for client queries in relation to payment * Previous experience of Navision Software is a bonus Benefits: * 23 days holidays plus stats * Discounted products * On Site Parking To discuss in more detail please contact Jack on (phone number removed)
