2 x Human Factors Engineer - HF requirements, Systems Integration, Assessments, Qualification, Human Workload, Situation Awareness, Human Reliability Analysis and Cultural Interventions. 2 x Human Factors Engineers is required to work on a twelve month with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Lancashire. This is an opportunity to work within the aerospace sector on Military Aircraft. Overview of the Human Factors Engineer contract roles We need someone to apply Human Factors knowledge to the future of cockpit design. What technologies can we foresee? What capabilities will such technologies offer the pilots of the future? How can we measure and adapt to the variety of influencing forces that will affect the performance of the system that the pilot is part of? Can you answer these questions and have the whereabouts to develop your ideas in to a design that will help shape our future? Responsibilities of the Human Factors Engineer contract roles To work in multi-functional projects and different areas of Human Factors; To provide a human engineering focus on a variety of service and product based work Involved in all phases of the life cycle you shall have inputs to defining HF requirements, systems integration, setting up and running assessments and generating qualification evidence. Work may include human workload, situation awareness, human reliability analysis and cultural interventions. Planning and managing the performance of own work and reporting issues to line management in a timely manner; Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and performance skills.
