Commissioning Manager (contract/grant management) - contract manager, grant manager, contract relationship manager, contract management, grant management, debt advice, not for profit X2 Permanent/x1 12 month fixed-term Central London - up to £59,000 plus benefits (Pension, Private Health Care, Life Assurance, and more) Commissioning Manager (contract/grant management) - we are looking to recruit an experienced Commissioning Manager who has expertise in contract or grant management for a personal finance consumer focused organisation, who operate on a not for profit basis. Based in the company office in London, you will play a key role in leading the commissioning value stream (the end-to-end business process for commissioning) for debt advice. This is a brand new role, which is very exciting, as it is broad in scope and will look at continuing to improve commissioned debt advice services by supporting the identification and leveraging of new opportunities to grow and supporting efforts to improve the commissioning toolkit. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide effective day to day management of debt advice agreements (grant or contract) ensuring providers deliver against budget; forecasts and all business plan objectives. Accountability for a portfolio of services/regions and the associated budget. Manage relationships with existing supply chains ensuring efficient achievement of agreement objectives. Manage spend in line with budget, minimizing variance and capturing financials in a compliant manner. Ensure timely and accurate payment aligned with agreement schedules. REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Excellent relationship management ability and experience of leading successful paid for partnerships to achieve target outcome at the right quality. Ability to manage large complex and diverse portfolios of services (up to £26m) over large geographical areas. Solid financial and performance management skills. Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills, able to challenge constructively and drive fundamental shifts in existing beliefs and behaviors to deliver positive change. Experience of change management within a supply chain context. Strong analytical skills with an understanding of the important drivers of advice quality, financial performance and client outcomes. Good understanding of advice quality and the ability to work with suppliers to improve and enhance where required. Strong stakeholder management, with expertise in influencing senior level stakeholders, both internally and externally.
