Cyber Security Engineer - ECommerce. Leading Ecommerce organisation requires a Cyber Security Engineer, someone who is very 'hands-on', especially in the 'threat-hunting area' of Cyber Security, recognising it & stopping it. You will be able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge, working hands-on securing the company infrastructure through installing and maintaining various tooling whilst adhering to cyber security standards. The position requires you to be autonomous, and does not have any specific line management duties, apart from advising team members on best practice and the wider business on projects. This role will someone who has a previous technical background in the capacity as a SOC Analyst, Pen tester, Networking with Cyber Security (networks, data encryption, DNS understanding, worked with lots of Tooling etc). Candidates applying for the position should be able to demonstrate the following core skills & responsibilities experience: Responsibilities Leading security initiatives, building/configuring new tools, cyber security best practice Working with internal business units, security providers and external 3rd parties Ensure the estate is secure by maintaining/employing defence in depth' measures. Using the cyber kill chain methodology to ensure attack vectors are detected and mitigated Working with the business to ensure all sensitive Advising business unit technical teams on Cyber Security on initiatives Technical Skills required: Excellent/broad technical knowledge of Infrastructure & network operating systems Excellent Scripting for API integration and BAU tasks Network Architectures - Securing multiple LANs over VPN and remote appliances Good knowledge of Cyber Security frameworks & how to enhance technical control areas Wide experience of Tools and dealing with the technical policies of them.
