A Formal Engineering Qualification Mechanical/Electriocal HNC/HND NVQ level 3 or equivalent BTEC ONC, C&G Technician or equivalent is essential. The ideal candidate should be able to: Work within Regulatory requirements Evaluate breakdowns and stoppages and communicate in a timely manner Demonstrate sound fault finding Diagnostic ability Identify root cause and provide solutions Maintaining equipment and assets in a safe, compliant and reliable order. Use downtime data to identify downtime issues and opportunities to Improve. Provide technical advice and solutions for equipment issues. Instrument Plant Supervisor To work as part of the operating team alongside the Operating Service Centre (OSC) to ensure safe, efficient and reliable execution of all aspects of plant operation, on the local (mother) plant and its associated satellite plants. As part of this team, you will be responsible for all aspects of safety, health and environmental compliance, site security, and instrument/electrical maintenance locally. lead the management of contractors and projects which are primarily instrumentation/electrical in nature. Primary responsibilities for the planning and execution of routine maintenance as designated by SAP and non-routine maintenance as and when required at the Carrington site and the Carrington satellite plants. Provide out of hours assistance for plant & satellite emergencies and operational/maintenance issues on a call-out basis. To support maintenance of compressors for the packaged gas depot and supervision of contractors facility wide when needed. To drive productivity and keep maintenance and project expenditure to a minimum for all facility activities You will need EH&S experience and a depth of Instrument maintenance in a COMAH environment.
