Role Working in the IT Development Team, the Web Developer works within the Development and Delivery team facilitating the website development and deployment efforts for the FDM website. The successful applicant will be based in our central Leeds office working as part of the IT Development team. Duties and Responsibilities Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the WordPress CMS Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin. Designing and implementing new features and functionality Establishing and guiding the website's architecture Essential Criteria Significant experience building responsive web applications Strong ability to hand code HTML5/CSS3/J-Query/JavaScript Experience of development within Wordpress themes Knowledge of bootstrap framework Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages Comfortable working with debugging tools Experience of optimising code for web performance Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and SVN Ability to communicate effectively within a group

The Role The Technical Trainer will be responsible for creating and delivering exciting training materials and imparting your knowledge and expertise, directly influencing the UK's next generation of Software Developers. Duties and Responsibilities Lead a team of trainees through the course modules, assessing their progress to the quality standards defined by Course Owners. Support and mentor Trainees throughout their time in Academy. Use differentiation to cater to a variety of learning styles. Deliver courseware updates when requested by Course Owners to meet the learning outcomes defined by the business. Work closely with sales to ensure the right candidates are selected for roles.
