How is the programme structured Your journey as a Big Data Consultant will begin at FDM's Glasgow Academy, where you will receive award winning technical training. You will have the chance to gain industry-recognised qualifications, as well as mentoring and support throughout. After successfully completing your training, you will be placed on-site in Glasgow City Centre with one of our major clients in the Finance Sector, JP Morgan. What will I be doing You will receive comprehensive training at the FDM Academy in Glasgow, giving you the skills and knowledge to become an FDM Big Data Consultant. You will be trained on working with Big Data covering Hadoop, Spark and Impala, working within an agile environment and will be exposed to the full SDLC. Join FDM as a Business consultant through the FDM Getting Back to Business Programme. We will provide you with seven weeks of training to refresh and upskill your knowledge. Upon completion, you will become a full time consultant working onsite with one or more of our prestigious clients across various sectors such as finance, banking, media and the public sector located in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Livingston, Stirling and Perth. As an FDM consultant, you will work with us for a minimum of two years. After that time, you could either transition to the client permanently or stay with FDM as a senior consultant.
