Senior Pricing Analyst - Surrey Leading financial institution with operations across Europe, is currently seeking an additional Pricing Analyst to join their team working on Pricing development for key portfolios. This is a key role in their Analytics and Pricing function, that will suit someone from a consumer lending / unsecured finance background in particular, but could also utilise your skills if you have working in Pricing or Credit Analytics in Insurance, Telecoms or Utilities. They are seeking someone with strong numerical and analytical skills, good with volumes of data, who can interpret and make recommendations around what the data output is saying. You do not necessarily need experience of pricing to do this role - experience in a credit risk, collections or marketing analytics function would also be considered. You need to have experience of working with a statistical package (ideally SAS, but skills in R, SQL, SPSS, Matlab or similar would also be considered). In the role you will get to work on the analysis of not only UK portfolios, but also work on portfolios from across Europe as well. The organisation is building a specialist centre for Analytics in the UK. You will be working with large datasets, and the ability to recognise trends (or anomalies) will be key in then thinking strategically on how to best price products moving forwards. You will be working with, and further developing the pricing models as well as validating the output of these models. You will be involved in presenting the pricing recommendations up to Director / Board level. This role will provide ongoing challenge and skills development, in an organisation that is really focused around their people.
