We are currently working on a Digital Transformation project and are looking for Quality Assurance/Test Engineer to join our team based in Worthing. As a Quality Assurance/Test Engineer you will: collaborate with Service/Product Managers & business analysts to ensure that user needs for new digital services are fully understood and that user stories contain effective, actionable acceptance criteria identify test cases that are suitable for automation and work with the Agile Test Coordinator, developers and architects to define the approach to automated testing write automated acceptance tests that can be integrated into the software build process organise and perform manual tests when automated approaches are not possible develop test strategies that ensure our digital services function correctly on multiple devices, including desktop, mobile, tablet, games consoles and other commonly used ways of accessing digital services test digital products for compliance with accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0 participate in the wider testing community, building relationships with other testing engineers and identifying best practices we can adopt Essential Skills and Experience: Experience of agile software development and testing methods Experience of automation testing Demonstrable understanding of test driven development approaches Scala code to automate tests using Selenium WebDriver, and rapidly learn other tools & languages as required Proven ability to independently research & communicate new testing technologies or approaches Detail-oriented: able to document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts and defect tracking documents Experience of testing software across multiple web browsers and devices Desired Skills and Experience: Experience of automated testing tools (eg Jenkins, jUnit, Cucumber, rspec, Selenium) Experience of web testing tools (eg Selenium WebDriver) Experience working as a test automation engineer, software developer, or other appropriate IT background, in an agile project Experience of API programming languages such as JSon All candidates are subject to the requirements of the Baseline Personnel Security Standard and will be required to provide appropriate documentation to verify ID, nationality, employment and/or academic history and criminal record check (unspent convictions)

Java Developer sought to cover and initial 6 month contract based in Swansea. This contract sits outside the scope of IR35. Looking for someone with solid Java 1.4, EJB, JDBC, XML, WSDL, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, Struts, WebLogic (WLS and WLW), Oracle and SQL. You should have good Application stack experience and have a proven ability to understand and assess business and operational requirements, architectural goals and constraints. Previous experience of working within an Agile squad in a tech based business environment would also be highly desirable. As would experience of working with multiple stakeholders at all levels, establishing consensus and facilitating decision making. Project will involve helping to remove and change a government gateway solution. For this stage of the project you will be required x5 days a week on site. For subsequent work patterns changes can be discussed to allow more flexibility.

Oracle Commodity Cloud specialist required to cover a well paid, initial 6 months contract in London. Your skills are required to lead the design and strategy for a critical migration project. You will report to the Programme Lead Architect and some external stakeholder engagement should be expected. Ideally you will be currently SC level cleared. Other skills looked for inc: Experience of architecting Commodity Cloud IaaS and or PaaS solutions from the ground up, Linux(Redhat), OSB (Oracle Service Bus) and WebLogic. Knowledge of encryption or data/network traffic would be a nice-to-have as would any Scripting languages. If this is of interest please get in touch.

Digital Architect/Functional Operating Model SME - FOM for Digital/ICT, HLD, Transformation is required by my client who is based in Warwick, Warwickshire. Responsibilities & Outcomes: In conjunction with the Transformation Team to: New Operating Model: Define and assure a new Functional Operating Model (FOM) for a joint Digital and ICT service function to enable and support the wide new operating model. Transformation Roadmap: Create a roadmap for the transformation of existing Digital and ICT functions considering skills, organisation design and development, technology, culture, governance, sourcing, processes, metrics, assets and customer experience. Digital & ICT Governance Framework: Establish a digital and ICT governance framework and a set of operating principles which can be applied to real scenarios exploring the complexities and nuances that relate to enterprise solutions and complex contracts. Tasks/Outputs: Ph1 Concept and Shape : Rapid design work to establish the Digital and ICT Functional Operating Model As Is: Baseline and appraisal of business requirements and provide a report of the current model, and its issues. Requirements : Clearly define what digital and ICT functions are responsible for now and will be in the future to ensure continual alignment with corporate strategic objectives. To Be: Define a functional operating model (options) for digital and ICT services and articulate operating model strategy, goals and risks. Gap Analysis: Create a register of change initiatives derived by comparing the As-Is and To-Be models. Performance & Reporting: Define the performance measures and reporting requirements - standardising management information across all the different parties in the operating model to enable effective evaluate the success of the operating model. Resource Model: Create a resource model for the joint digital and ICT function and define the associated roles and responsibilities (RACI model) and costs.
