Service Improvement Manager- NHS experience essential/Stakeholder Management/IT Skills including Microsoft- 6 months- Northampton- 270- 330 via an umbrella- INSCOPE OF IR35 SmartSourcing currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Service Improvement Manager. The post holder is responsible for supporting local CCGs to ensure that the performance management of acute, mental health and community providers in their area meets the needs of their patients. This will involve working as part of functional and multidisciplinary teams to maximise performance within the constraints and flexibilities of evolving and changing national guidance. The role is responsible for implementation of best in class performance management systems and processes that support delivery of the key principles identified. Skills Experiences Required- Microsoft packages, manipulate via pivit tables and excels, looking at data on a portal and moving that data to produce reports Support CCGs in development and review of local initiatives to ensure delivery of national performance standards and to ensure that CCG senior managers are aware of the consequences of failure to deliver national standards. Ensure that providers develop and implement robust improvement plans to deal with performance issues in a timely and effective way Working with system stakeholders to understand the performance impact on providers of wider system issues and advise and recommend improvements based on recognised best practice. Provide strategic and operational reports and briefings to directors and boards on relevant areas of provider performance. Provide performance management leadership and support to contract negotiation discussions and monthly contracting and quality meetings with provider organisations. Provide line management and/or professional leadership and support to other members of the Performance Team as required. Maintenance of a customer centred approach to service provision Able to effectively lead and manage a team within a Matrix structure, where there are multiple points of accountability.
