About the Role Managing a team of Research Analysts and Content Researchers, the key responsibilities of this role are to: - Provide overall leadership, direction and guidance to Research Analysts and Content Researchers With the support of the Director of Content & Communications, execute the associated Business Intelligence Research strategy Identify and support the development and delivery of new, data based products and services Identify and introduce new technology and process improvement to support efficiency and quality improvements Build effective relationships across all key stakeholders, including IT, Marketing and Sales functions, and positively represent the true value of the Research function Champion the value and importance of our data and how it can drive the commercial value across our product portfolio Effectively manage workflow to meet with the priorities of the business Manage the quality of our BI data and other content sources, to ensure we are constantly improving customer experience and satisfaction Providing detail and insightful reporting which shapes and influences business decision making Pro-actively manage and develop the relationship with our outsourcing partners, ensuring a focus on both quality and efficiency Drive quality standards and overall governance across the team Produce high quality reports for our customer base Lead from the front in respect of best practice Skills and Experience Highly experienced within a data, analytics and insight environment Commercially astute Line management experience Experience of managing external suppliers desirable Commercially astute Experienced in working with and analysing large volumes of data High attention to detail Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Strong stakeholder management skills Budgetary management experience desirable What's on offer? Working as part of our Global Commercial Team, we are actively recruiting for a Bid Writer. This role will form an integral component of the team, working amongst experienced Bid Executives to deliver ambitious business growth goals. The Role The core responsibilities of the role will include: Writing elements of tender/ bid responses and commercial proposals Timely and accurate collation, presentation and despatch of information for tendering purposes Managing multiple projects, objectives and deadlines Support in the development of our Bid Library content Conduct appropriate project and client research in line with BiP objectives Effective and pro-active engagement with colleagues across all divisions of the company Assisting in the collation and presentation of information for tendering purposes and to support commercial proposals. The Individual As the successful candidate, you will have good experience of working within a fast-paced, commercial office environment and be proficient across all Microsoft packages. You will demonstrate excellent writing skills gained through your work experience to date and / or academic experience. Knowledge of the tendering process and the wider public sector procurement environment would be highly advantageous but there will be a supportive structure in place to equip you once in the post. In addition, the successful candidate will have good project management skills, a commitment to achieving deadlines, an analytical approach to work and meticulous attention to detail. Sound commercial accumen is crucial; as is a creative and lateral approach to solving problems.
