The HR Specialist will support the HR Generalists with subject matter expertise and encourage and implement process improvements around the day to day tasks to benefit our customer outcomes. To ensure your success in this role you will have experience of; Competent in HR, Payroll & Pension activities and processes including reporting Working knowledge of HR and Payroll Systems Experience of communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders Experience of working on own initiative and pulling together comprehensive information whilst working under pressure and deadlines You will be responsible for: To carry out HR, Pay & Pensions related changes linked to the Employee Lifecycle ensuring all activities remain compliant and within policy, legislation, regulatory guidelines and risk appetite. To lead and/or participate in key BAU and Project runway activity within Operational Effectiveness team To provide subject matter & process expertise on all general and complex tasks and processes within the team and support and mentor the HR Generalists where applicable To actively assess, monitor and manage risks within the team and ensure appropriate controls are in place and also carry out required financial reconciliations where applicable People who work at Prudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit. Financial Reporting Accountant Working with M&G Prudential as Financial Reporting Accountant means becoming part of a brand with a global reputation, a remarkable history and exciting plans for the future. M&G Prudential is required to produce consolidated IFRS financial statements and Group Solvency 2 reporting. Reporting to the Head of Group Consolidation, this role will be integral to establishing the consolidation process for M&G Prudential and production of the financial information for the new Group's reporting. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic accountant to be involved in establishing the financial reporting for a new listed group. Knowledge: Knowledge of IFRS and Solvency 2 reporting requirements Knowledge of financial reporting regulatory requirements and legislatory frameworks Knowledge of M&G Prudential products, systems and distribution methods Experience of dealing with complex transactions and associated accounting Good knowledge of industry trends, best practice and developments, good networks/links with external bodies and individuals in the same field Experience: Significant experience of the production and delivery of financial reporting in a life and pensions organisation.
