My client is a leading premium healthcare brand and they are looking for a Junior PeopleSoft analyst to join their team. This role will be a year long Fixed Term Contract paying up to £32,000 over the year. To administer all functional aspects of the UK PeopleSoft Financials System associated with operating all modules in use currently General Ledger, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, eProcurement, Purchase Ordering, Cash Management, Employee Expenses and Inventory together with associated reporting To provide ongoing support (ie problem resolution, advice and training) to the UK PeopleSoft Financials User Community (over. 8000users) within agreed SLA's. To liaise with the Technical Resources of the I.S. department in order to resolve any system issues, where necessary. To promote, through support activities, PeopleSoft best practices in accordance with established business processes. To ensure a consistent and continual utilisation of PeopleSoft Financials throughout continual communication with other Market Units using PeopleSoft (eg UKMU, ANZ and ELA). This will be achieved by being part of an internally recognised team having system expertise. To contribute where necessary to development projects which are utilising PeopleSoft Financials. Accountabilities and Activities Administration To configure the system to meet the business requirements of the Finance users. To monitor, maintain and develop the schedule of routine processing jobs as well as cross-modular and external interfaces, and to ensure that any changes to the schedule are communicated to the User Community in a timely fashion. To provide appropriate reports and queries to enable users to effectively report on Financial transactions User Support & Training Security To administer user's on-line access and any problems they may have concerning their log-on, access profile, permissions and preferences, without compromising segregation of duties within the user's department, or data protection across business units. Development Work To undertake analysis, design, management and delivery of solutions for development projects and sub-projects that impact on the use of PeopleSoft Financials software. To ensure any bugs in the PeopleSoft Financials software that impact on the Business' ability to use the system effectively are identified, the relevant patches evaluated, and fixes applied where appropriate. Qualifications, Training and Experience Qualifications Desirable: Educated to Degree Level (preferably Business or Finance degree) Experience At least 2 years experience of Financial Systems administration and/or Finance system implementation (preferably with PeopleSoft Financials) - Practical experience/understanding of accounting concepts and processes, including management reporting Knowledge/understanding of current PeopleSoft architecture Skills A good working knowledge of how Finance systems are configured and operate (preferably specifically PeopleSoft Financials) Ability to self-motivate and work unsupervised Effective time management and prioritisation skills Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills Detail conscious and a natural aptitude for work of a systems nature Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (in particular Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
