The Opportunity - Technical Operations Manager This is an fantastic opportunity for a technically strong leader with proven experience of Matrix managing a team of talented engineers and managing hosted infrastructure projects. to join an international, renowned communications and IT Services company in Berkshire. My client provides solutions to a large range of international Enterprise customers. ranging from communications, data services, cyber security, cloud hosting and IT managed services. This role will suit a strong technical individual with excellent customer facing skills and solid Matrix management experience. This is a permanent role based in Berkshire Responsibilities - Technical Operations Manager The Technical Operations Manager will be responsible for improving customer satisfaction by driving improvements in change and incident management as well as identifying opportunities to improve processes and addressing operational inefficiencies. Working closely with the Service Delivery team the Technical Operations Manager will act as a Support Advocate and will strive to ensure SLA's are met and projects are delivered correctly. The Technical Operations Manager will be the first point of contact for customers in Major Incidents and will strive to be proactive in developing service improvements. The Technical Operations Manager will be providing technical oversight to a team of 24x7 engineers and will be responsible for prioritising and delegating tasks to the team in order to meet customer requirements. Experiences required - Technical Operations Manager Expert level experience in one or more of the following web technologies: WebSphere/Weblogic/Tomcat etc. OS and Database Administration (Windows, Linux, Oracle, SQL etc.) Virtualisation (Hypervisor, VMware etc.) Networking, load balancers, Firewalls, Switches etc. Strong troubleshooting experiences Strong leadership skills - able to motivate a team of engineers An ability to control crisis situations during P1 incidents SLA/KPI management Proven customer facing experience Excellent communication and presenation skills ITIL/Project Management skills Location: Berkshire Salary: £75,000 + 15% bonus Permanent If this Technical Operations Manager role is of interest, please send your CV in for review.
