About the role Spire Bristol Hospital are currently recruiting for a part-time (20 hours per week) Ward Administrator/Bed Co-ordinator to join our team in Bristol. This is a key position in the hospital that ensures the efficient and timely allocation of rooms to our patients, with a focus on each individual patient's needs. Duties and responsibilities Responsible for placing patients in the correct room according to their surgery and length of stay Assisting in the application of discharge plans for patients. Developing good working relationships with staff on the wards and in ITU/HDU to ensure the effective utilisation of available beds Communicating with the Ward Sister on any extra admissions or any bed changes on the ward Ensure each patient's insurance is updated for any delayed discharges Ensuring that any patient transfers into ITU/HDU follow the correct procedures Who we're looking for This role will suit someone with strong administration and communication skills.
