Ensure that information and insight is provided to the market in a timely fashion and in accordance with any code obligated timescales Ensure that any market performance information provided to the market is actionable and can drive market improvement Monitor the effectiveness of 'interventions' by MOSL in driving market improvement. Manage the code envisaged Performance Resolution process, working with Trading Parties to resolve performance issues Work with Ofwat to enable coordination between Ofwat's market monitoring framework and the activities of the market performance team Actively engage with Trading Parties on market performance issues. Leading the support of the externally elected Market Performance Committee. This role has no financial responsibility. Personal profile Knowledge Understanding of the water sector Understanding of technical tools for analysis and driving performance improvement. Understanding the role that data has in engaging and influence a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders Understanding of regulated markets or market economics is an advantage Skills Ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders. Ability to use data, information and market knowledge to prioritise areas of focus Ability to turn analysis and priorities into a planned programme of activity Able to communicate detailed information to other members of staff and wider stakeholders and members. Project management and progress reporting Ability to interact with internal IT service providers Able to plan resources and work to pre-defined deadlines.
