Senior Analyst Brief Overview Our client, working in the rail industry, based in Milton Keynes, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their team in a permanent capacity. As Senior Analyst, your role will be to review, analyse and challenge business plans and periodic results and forecasts. In this role, you will review, analyse and challenge the business data and plan submissions for the routes and central functions to ensure full compliance with financial and operational targets. Other key accountabilities Assist in the measurement of route performance against Network Rail's Delivery Plan within the framework focussed on achieving corporate goals. Lead the development of consistent models and analysis of all activities, including the setting benchmarking and best practice, internal and external, for all activities. Provide the appropriate management information including support to budget holders for control of expenditure and business case development. Derive from analysis and discussions, opportunities for improvement. Propose actions to budget holders. Monitor and report on progress in the implementation of efficiencies identified in the business plan by the use of the efficiency tracking process. Manage the production of reporting packs for management reviews.
