Facilities Manager (HVAC/BMS/Energy/Sustainability) London Currently exploring the market for one of the world's largest cloud computing and E-commerce institutions. As they expand and diversify, they have found themselves under the spotlight to ensure that their buildings and warehouses are as energy efficient and sustainable as possible. As a result they are now looking for a contract Facilities Manager (HVAC/BMS/Energy/Sustainability) with experience in Energy saving projects within large facilities. The successful Facilities Manager (HVAC/BMS/Energy/Sustainability) will have a strong background in facilities management and sustainability projects; specifically experience of building systems and introducing energy saving tools in areas such as HVAC, BMS and lighting, and a general pre-disposition to learn and deep dive in other technical areas. You'll have significant experience working in large facilities and with operational teams, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into easily understandable and actionable possibilities. You'll also have excellent experience liaising with C level stakeholders. Essential Skills: Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting and BMS Excellent experience in facilities management and energy efficiency/sustainability projects Ability to engage effectively with C level stakeholders Experience managing facilities or construction works, understanding of Health and Safety requirements and strong leadership skills to manage contractors and obtain results (schedule, budget, quality). Additional languages as well as fluent English are desirable but not essential This will initially begin as a 6 month contract with the opportunity for long term extension. You will also need to be fully flexible for regular travel across Europe to meet with internal stakeholders.
