Responding to our 700,000 alarm points that are monitored 24/7 - whether it's a broken pump in a sewage treatment site or a potential gas leak, our alarms alert us when our operational assets require attention. You will develop a strong working knowledge of an operational support environment, with an opportunity to understand and experience operational risk mitigation. Operating the site in accordance with all relevant legislation, licenses, agreements and company procedures, you'll ensure health and safety is as paramount as output and performance. Supporting the largest geographical area of a water company in England and Wales with 6 million customers brings many challenges and a requirement for an abundance of accurate data to be created, maintained and shared across the business. To help us action the accurate receipt of goods and services whilst building strong relationships internally and externally to support the commercial functions within the Finance and Performance team, we are looking for a SAP Performance Analyst to join us. Working within our Asset Management Business Unit and in close collaboration with Alliance, you'll ensure compliance with standards and procedures in respect to commercial activities whilst looking at new and creative ways to add value. Key responsibilities: · Controlling project documentation ensuring delivery tickets match against purchase orders · Ensure that GRN's are completed within agreed timescales · Work with Accounts Payable to resolve payment blockers · Maintain and enhance filing ticket process to aid audit compliance · Produce accurate reports and analysis to ensure payment terms are met · Assist with accruals, SAP forecasts and other monthly finance tasks As our next SAP Performance Analyst, we are looking for you to have good commercial and finance awareness with excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel. Previous SAP experience would be advantageous, but not essential. With the ability to interpret data and analysis to non- date literate audiences, you'll enjoy working in a team towards tight deadlines and will be able to prioritise your work load accordingly.
