ActionAid is recruiting for a Senior M&E Advisor to deliver high-level monitoring, evaluation and impact support work. We are recruiting a Senior M&E Advisor who is passionate about securing women and girl's rights and helping ActionAid UK to be effective, learn from our work and develop and strengthen our programmes. You will deliver high-level monitoring, evaluation and impact support work and your skills and experience in these areas will allow you to excel at this. You are experienced and confident in building strong working relationships and are highly organised. You are able to work on your own initiative and are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will support colleagues to strengthen the capacity and capability of ActionAid UK teams and county offices, ensuring that monitoring, evaluation and learning is a key element of accountability and donor compliance. The Policy, Advocacy and Programmes department is a delivery partner in ActionAid UK's new strategy. The team is comprised of members supporting financial resource mobilisation, grant/ contract management, programmatic innovation, research and learning towards this end. A key purpose of the team is to coordinate programme related research, evaluation and learning in conjunction with thematic specialists in the Research and Programme Policy team. The Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser is a senior specialist who will support the business development and programme learning functions of the department. You will have substantial experience in designing monitoring and evaluation policies, systems, tools and processes in an international development/humanitarian environment and in compliance with different institutional donor funding mechanisms.
