We are looking for a strong, reliable administrator, on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, working in our busy HR department. You will work as part of the Human Resources team to provide effective admin support to the HR team and staff across our divisions. You will be responsible for populating, updating and maintaining accurate people information/data on our HR systems in a timely manner and sending out employee correspondence. You will run various checks on employees such as Right to Work and DBS checks and assist the HR Admin Manager with reporting and answering first line queries from staff on HR administrative matters. You will need proven administrative experience, with strong knowledge of all Microsoft Packages particularly Word (Intermediate) and Excel (Intermediate; including pivot tables, v-look ups and writing/amending formulas), plus previous experience of managing standard monthly reports. You will be methodical and organised with experience of working in a confidential environment or understanding the importance of confidentiality and discretion in respect of staff information and the people we support. Previous HR experience or knowledge of general employment law (e.g. employment contracts, right to work, DBS) would be an advantage, but not essential.
