Introduction Want to make a real difference? We are looking for an experienced support manager to oversee 3 of our supported living locations across the Kent area (Eastry, Dover and Eythorne) . The homes support people with Learning disabilities and other associated support needs and you will be responsible for managing and motivating team members to deliver high quality in accordance with legislation, regulatory standards and ensure the needs and aspirations of the people we support are being met and that this can be evidenced. Skills & Experience You will have relevant social care experience and proven ability to improve the quality, promote independence and achieve outcomes. Successful candidates will also be required to demonstrate, through practice, how they will ensure that our values are upheld and how the staff teams are providing consistent and excellent support in line with these and how their values and practices can influence staff to be the best, by providing the best support to the people in the homes. You will be responsible for directly line managing a team leader and a team of support workers, by providing regular supervisions, appraisals and inductions, you will also be required to complete quality and compliance within the locations, which will include regular finance audits, updating the people we support plans, risk assessments and completing person centred plans. The ability to plan and prioritise your workload is essential. You will be a driver, with access to a car, as you will be required to work across locations, including the local office in Ashford, and travel for training. We are looking for candidates who can work flexibly to meet the needs of the teams and participate in the On-Call rota.
