The company is part of an international engineering group and it is poised for significant growth. The production facility operates on a shift working pattern through an experienced team of c 90 colleagues and the focus to lead the team and deliver complex high specification welded structures on a well-planned, on-time and to budget basis. All scheduled work within the facility operates to rigorous quality standards and the role calls for an experience fabrications specialist with the gravitas and expertise to lead this experienced team to higher levels of performance. The clients current sectors of activity include power stations, waste to energy plants, steam boilers, pressure vessels and specialist constructions used in wide ranging applications such as oil and gas. It is essential that the facility works to industry leading quality standards and with cost and delivery KPI's that are world-class. The ideal candidate will be a proven workshop/production general manager with demonstrable success in leading high specification production activities such as this.
