As the Helpdesk Coordinator you will be: • Dealing with incoming calls and emails from customers and other departments • Take ownership for customer queries, dealing with them efficiently and professionally • Meeting SLAs for all queries • Document queries according to process, categorizing urgent queries when necessary • Working effectively with internal departments to ensure customers receive an exceptional service • Monitoring and dealing with your own workload independently • Representing the company with a first-class standard service • Providing technical support to customers The successful Helpdesk Coordinator will have: • You must be fluent in Dutch, both verbal and written communication • You must also be fluent in English, both verbal and written communication • Experience within a similar Customer Service role would be a distinct advantage • Superb communication skills both verbal and written. • Results orientated and focused. • Strong IT literacy and ability to learn technical products • Ability to prioritise, particularly at busy periods • A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach. • Smart appearance and professional attitude. • GCSE's Grade C or above in Maths & English What are we offering? A Sales Assistant for our client is proud to work as one team, covering all areas of the branch ensuring customers receive exceptional service every time. The ideal candidate will have sales experience and be happy working as one team covering all areas of the branch. Our client is part of a FTSE 250 company serving the not only the Building industry but building and the construction industry as a whole. As a national builders merchant, they ensure their customers can always find what they need, either in one of their nationwide stores or online, they aim to be there when their customers need them. Day to day you'll provide customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service whilst optimising branch sales and profit, ensuring repeat custom So, if you have experience within a similar role, within a builders merchant or similar then this could be the role for you! Apart from your day to day duties, some of your key responsibilities will include: Building rapport with customers through excellent customer service, understanding their requirements and ensuring that the correct products are supplied; as a result, securing the most profitable quotes and on-going business. Processing orders and payments in a timely manner. Always looking for opportunities to enhance the sales and customer experience through continuous improvement. Maintaining a clean, tidy and well merchandised counter area in line with company standards and ensuring a tidy working environment at all times; both at the front and back of the branch in line with health and safety guidelines. Providing an efficient, timely and dependable delivery service when required. Receiving and checking off deliveries to the branch, highlighting any anomalies and ensuring correct, secure and timely storage of all deliveries in line with health and safety guidelines. Ensuing that the warehouse is kept tidy at all times, that stock is clearly identifiable and that low stock levels are highlighted to the branch management. Reporting any vehicle defects immediately to the Management Team. Acting as an advocate for the brand. Liaising with suppliers where necessary. Completing administration duties as assigned. Performing any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required. Working Monday - Friday between 7.30am - 5pm and alternate Saturdays 8am - 12pm. Working from the Harrogate branch The Person Experience of a similar role is desired Experience of working within a Builders Merchant Experience of working in a sales and customer service environment. Strong customer service skills and able to build rapport. Excellent communications skills be that in person, on the phone or via email. Able to work on own initiative, with a "can do" positive outlook even when under pressure. To be tidy and organised with an eye for detail. Experience of working in a Merchants is desired but not essential.
