Guardian Homecare are looking for reliable, flexible and committed individuals for positions as Crisis Care Workers and Reablement Assistants in the West Lancashire area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a service that is much more fast-paced and varied than typical Homecare support. You will follow an ethos of encouragement and support, facilitating the person to undertake daily living tasks for themselves where possible. Support and reablement may be required with activities such as personal care, cleaning, shopping, exercises and social activities. Each individual will have their own support plan identifying their specific needs. Close monitoring and feedback will be an essential part of the position. Opportunities are also available for sit-in and overnight work within our crisis service. Previous experience working in the community or in a rehabilitation environment is desired, although full training and development will be provided.
