Our Tewkesbury based client, a home improvement company, are looking for an Office Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be providing administrational support across a wide range of tasks, as well as managing the company's database.
You will also be required to answer telephone calls as well as processing the data generated.
" Check all orders received to ensure that they provide the information required to enable processing to take place
" Ensure all customer orders are scheduled in line with their requirements
" Data Entry where appropriate
" Taking of daily orders and processing the information for these
" Speaking with existing customers over the phone
" Management of office filing systems
" Managing the company's database which will include sale information
" Arranging shipment return
" Provide support to the office based staff
" Provide support with the financial matters including petty cash and accurate recording of purchases for budget monitoring purposes
" Diary management where appropriate
" Dealing with queries via telephone, email and in person providing a high standard of customer care
" Assist the business' needs
" A good understanding of Microsoft packages
" Flexibility and adaptability to work under own initiative and in a busy office environment
" An ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
" Takes a broad perspective on the organisations goals
" Accurate in data entry
" Be a self-motivated team player
" Observant with the ability to spot discrepancies
Successful candidates will have a strong admin focused background.
Previous experience within an office administrative role would be beneficial but is not essential.
