Our client is an established Educational charity seeking a enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service Sales Advisor to join their friendly team.
Purpose of the role:
The Advisor is responsible for providing thorough and effective customer service, sales and office administration across the full range of work to support the delivery of all activities undertaken by this company.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Deliver general administrative support ensuring that all necessary administrative tasks are completed in time and with a high level of accuracy
To effectively manage the administration of a range of events, including conferences, regional events and branch meetings, awards dinners and attendance at exhibitions
To ensure adequate promotional materials are available e.g. marketing materials & advise on stock quantities
To proactively provide customer service and sell membership, events and resources
To effectively manage the administration of a range of events, including conferences, regional events and branch meetings, awards dinners and attendance at events/exhibitions
Ensure that excellent customer service is delivered at all times and to make continuous customer service improvements when necessary
Ensure records of information sent to members and event delegates are kept up-to-date, to provide a seamless response to queries
To provide an efficient reception service to any visitors to the office
To provide administrative support to meetings as and when required
To sell, advise and administer any resource sales ensuring that correct payments are taken promptly, recorded and credited to membership and event records
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required
The successful candidate will have good understanding of MS Office, excellent communication skills and previous experience within a customer service administration position
