Temporary Payroll Coordinator Job in Christchurch Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a successful company based in Christchurch in recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator on a 4-month contract to join their friendly team. The Payroll Coordinator role will involve providing support in a busy Finance department and processing weekly payroll along with maintaining the general and sales ledgers. We are looking for candidates with exceptional attention to detail and a professional, mature and confidential approach to their work. Duties and Responsibilities: * Processing of weekly payroll for 50 hourly paid employees * Undertaking administration of sales ledgers including inputting of invoices and receipts, reconciling accounts and identifying late payments * The maintenance of banking records including transaction input and weekly reconciliations as well as online and cheque payments * The management of petty cash and foreign currency * Processing expense claims/cash advances Knowledge and Experience: * Payroll processing * Excellent communication skills at all levels * Proficient in the use of Excel, with aptitude to learning new systems * Organised and able to manage priorities * Discretion, professionalism and confidentiality * Keen to develop own skills and a willingness to learn Salary and Benefits: * A salary of £20,000 - £24,000 pro rata * Monday to Friday 8.15 am – 5.00 pm * 20 days holiday pro rata plus Bank Holidays * Free parking * Training on our bespoke system will be provided
