An exciting opportunity has arisen for bilingual candidates with an interest in Travel & Tourism! This vacancy is to join a well established organisation in central East Grinstead as a Customer Service Officer in the Emergency Services team. This is a temporary role for the busy summer period starting 1st April until September 2020. The role involves providing support to customers seeking advice whilst on holiday abroad within an inbound call environment. You will be speaking to customers, local authorities, embassies and local businesses to assist with a variety of circumstances from medical emergencies, to breakdowns and bereavements. This requires first class communication skills, a patient and empathetic manner with people and the ability to remain calm when under pressure. Candidates will need to have excellent customer service skills and be fluent in spoken and written French and English. The successful candidate will receive full training before working a variety of shifts as the department is open 7 days a week. Your shifts will be 35 hours a week across 5 days, working between 8am and 9pm. We can also consider part time hours for the right person.
