The Company and the Role:
The Company is a multi-award winning, family run gastro pub chain operating 8 sites in the South East. They are currently seeking a Chef de Partie for their public house located near Sevenoaks, Kent. The position is permanent.
They are looking for a committed Chef de Partie with a passion for good food that is ready to continue developing their career in an award-winning venue.
Established in 2003 the Company is offering a salary up to £19.5k plus tips, bonus and benefits including a pension scheme, staff loyalty scheme after 3 months, Uniform / Chefs Whites and Childcare Vouchers.
Key Features of the Role:
All food is prepared in house using fresh ingredients and local suppliers wherever possible
You will be expected to create and develop and set the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a very busy environment, to an award winning pub standard, enhancing the company’s reputation for consistently preparing cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality that is second to none.
Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Chef de Partie.
Ideally with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level, or a Commis Chef looking to move up to the next level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
Alternatively, the Company is supportive to the ex-military community. They welcome applications from Chefs at all levels who are either about to leave the Armed Forces or who have trained and served as a Chef in the Armed Forces.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential.
You must have experience and a desire to work with fresh and quality ingredients and possess ambition to continually improve yourself the business.
What’s on Offer:
Basic salary will be in the region of £16.5 – 19.5K per annum plus tips which will be worth around £80 per week. In addition, there is a monthly bonus scheme. Other benefits include a pension scheme, staff loyalty Scheme after 3 months, Uniform / Chefs Whites and Childcare Vouchers.
Standard working week is 45 hours working 5 shifts a week.
