Job Description:

  • Make warm and cold calls to new customers to explore business opportunities
  • Develop, identify and secure all relevant direct sales opportunities
  • Provide weekly activity, forecast and pipeline reports to line manager
  • Close new accounts
  • Carry out assignments delegated by line management
  • Identify decision makers within an organization and endeavour to speak to them
  • Set up appointments with customers for demonstrations
  • Make follow up calls to customers
  • Meet and exceed targets that have to do with revenue activities, customer acquisition, profit margin, and general growth of the company
  • Maintain the CRM database of the company
  • Develop effective working relationships with clients
  • Respond to the needs of customers and manage sales processes

Secondary duties:

  • Assist with marketing campaigns
  • Providing feedback to the development team
  • Reporting to Sales Director on sales activity and progress
  • Manage pre-calling planning activities such as call opening, relay of product information and call closing
  • Anticipate questions that may be asked during phone calls and prepare for them by employing effective answering techniques
