We are offering this new fantastic opportunity to work representing the Woodland Trust.
You will be working locally to your home community, inspiring others to join and stand up for trees.
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s largest woodland conservation charity. They currently have over half a million supporters and more than 1,000 sites covering over 26,000 hectares. Since the 1930s, over half of the UK’s ancient woodland has been destroyed by disease or development and the Woodland Trust’s main aim is to see a UK rich in woods and trees, enjoyed and valued by everyone. They protect and campaign on behalf of the UK’s woods to restore ancient woodland for the benefit of wildlife and people. Over the years they have identified woods under threat and fought to save them, often campaigning alongside local communities and raising funds to buy them.
Working for Wildlife is proud to play an active part in inspiring people to support the Woodland Trust financially as regular donors and long-term supporters, and we now need more people in our team.
We are looking for passionate people with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ideally a knowledge of key issues.
We provide full training and support, working with our experienced Area Coordinators and the Woodland Trust training team.
We are offering a self-employed role with all the benefits that come with it. You will be assigned venues within a reasonable radius of your home. In order to easily transport your materials, a car is crucial.
