I am delighted to be working on behalf of my leading Public Sector client on an exciting new opportunity for a Business Development Consultant to join the Glasgow team on a permanent basis and add real value to their existing client base.
The main aim of this role is to develop new business through lead generation, cold calling and identifying additional opportunities from existing clients. The role is exclusively business to business so experience in this area is essential alongside a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across several industries and at all levels. In this role, you will build a strong knowledge of the organisation and its offerings and will utilise this in order to develop new business opportunities.
It is important that you are methodical and tenacious in your approach to sales and are comfortable in a target-driven environment where you are required to be pro-active. Alongside this, your relationship building ability will ensure repeat business and referrals across a variety of industries.
You will receive a basic salary of £23,000-£25,000 alongside an excellent and industry-leading benefits scheme including great holidays and health and well-being programmes.
