£25,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Commission + Incredible team working environment!

Incredible Sales & Marketing Manager opportunity working within an exciting and fast-growing events agency that deliver a multitude of event solutions including Production, Design, Entertainment and Furniture. We are looking for an energetic individual with bounds of creativity to work within a diverse and imaginative team. The successful candidate will also promote activity across all divisions by creating effective and creative marketing campaigns to attract, retain and diversify audiences to meet ambitious sales targets!

Key Responsibilities

- Work with the MD and senior team to construct and implement the new business growth strategy and to identify and target top tier accounts

- Deliver the new business growth strategy and sales targets across the business
- Work with the senior team and other members of each department to cultivate repeat clients and proactively explore ways to promote the other areas of the business.
- The sales role is to be both reactive and proactive
- Reactive: dealing with enquiries and converting leads into bookings.
- Proactive: Using a variety of strategies to work on bringing in new business
- Work to develop our client's relationships with key London venues to secure a positive position on their preferred supplier lists
- Work with each department to develop their account management, helping to ensure sale targets are met through sales support and structure
- Help team members develop their account management and sales skills, working with each department to produce sales targets
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of new and existing clients to encourage repeat and new business
- Promote and advertise the company and its products to encourage new clients and bookings
- Manage bookings, budgets and client information through the database, ensuring this is relevant and timely
- Attend relevant trade fair/exhibitions/networking events and company promotional events as required or requested by your line manager
- Organise promotional events
- Design and develop new event concepts and business focuses, in collaboration with other team members, to include mood boarding, budgeting and delivery mechanics


- Collate and organise all business collateral including photos, case studies etc.
- Continuously update the company website; case studies and content
- Ensure all clients are kept up to date on new products and developments within the company
- Work with the Head of Design to devise and deliver creative, comprehensive and effective marketing campaigns, working within agreed campaign budgets
- Create campaign plans which identify key audiences, devise strategies to engage audiences and drive sales, and establish clear timelines for the delivery of campaign activity
- Work closely with Social Media in shaping fully integrated communications campaigns and co-ordinate marketing and press activity and maximise promotional opportunities
- Build positive relationships with external producers, promoters and sponsors to ensure campaign activity is delivered in a coherent and strategic manner and takes into account partner objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns through audience research and analysis, creating post-event evaluations for both internal stakeholders and external partners
- Ensure that campaigns are conceived and planned in a data-driven way to deliver targeted activity and maximise engagement
- Contribute to the development of digital content, working closely with the Head of Design and central Marketing department to develop concepts and briefs, in line with other campaign activity

Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience in the events sales with both excellent knowledge and understanding of production, design and entertainment to deliver growth
- Experience of managing relationships with clients, venues and agencies
- Experience of and enthusiasm for CRM and the associated benefits to drive the sales growth pipeline
- Experience in creating winning event proposals/pitch documents to secure bookings
- A data-driven approach to marketing campaigns
- Experience of using email marketing software and reporting on email performance
- Experience of Google Analytics
- Experience of using content management systems, updating websites and publishing to social media platforms
- An understanding of audience segmentation and use of audience analysis tools
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Accurate budget management skills
- Ability to prioritise own workload and deliver to deadlines
- A clear and confident communicator with highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire individuals across departments
- The ability to manage and collaborate with many different stakeholders, both internal and external, including Senior Managers.
- A team player with a 'can-do' attitude, personal drive, resourcefulness and initiative


- Practical experience with a range of imaging software (including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Full driving licence
