This year long apprenticeship opportunity is based within their Admin Department, supporting the Office Administrator and SHEQ Department. The position will be varied and interesting with the opportunity to learn new skills. Day to day you will be the first point of contact on the telephone, and be involved in general administrative duties and ad-hoc projects. Successful candidate will undertake a level 2 or 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship course with North Kent College. Summary of Responsibilities and personal duties: 1. Answer incoming telephone calls, screening and redirecting calls as appropriate and taking and forwarding messages thereby ensuring effective communication. 2. Maintaining a highly professional and approachable demeanour, as first point of call for clients and customers, both over the phone and in person. 3. Manage the processing of incoming and outgoing post i.e. distribution of incoming post, franking of outgoing post and taking to local post box. Maintain records for the booking of couriers as necessary. 4. Manage the process of issuing of ID badges and maintain accurate ID badge database. 5. Provide good, clear precise communication and ensure effective liaison with clients and their residents, on all aspects of the service provided. Assist the Office Administrator in: 6. Ensuring that administrative systems and procedures are being adhered to. 7. Managing, maintaining and updating Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management systems and procedures. 8. The upkeep of the building and its health and safety signage. 9. Preparation of training materials for internal training. Maintaining historical and current training records accurately.
